Dorothy Dabridgecourt

A daughter Dorothy is named in Sir George Puttenham's 1534 will, however, this Dorothy was not yet married, so was her half sister, another Dorothy who later married Adam Aldley . One of the witnesses to the will is " son (in-law) Thomas D'abridgecourt".
Dorothy Dabridgecourt nee Puttenham was most likely married before 1523, as her son George D'abridgecourt is thought to have been born about that date, as HIS first child was born in 1543.

Page 18: see Alice nee Windsor (1st wife of Sir George Puttenham) also with a daughter named Dorothy, and this one the wife of Thomas Dabridgecourt. So according to this source Sir George had two daughters,named Dorothy, which is a bit strange, but certainly isn't evidence that Dorothy Dabridgecourt was the daughter of Rose Gaynsford.
