Agnes Scott, Lady of Ardross

Agnes was the daughter of Thomas Scott of Pitgormo (d. 1539) and Agnes Moncreiff

She married 1st in 1558, Thomas Dishington of Ardross (died bef. 1569)

She married 2nd after 1569, Alexander Inglis of Tarvit (died c. 1590)

Agnes survived her second husband and died after 1590.

Extract Act of the Commissary Court of St Andrews [Fife] detailing an agreement between Mr John Rutherford (Rutherfurd), provost of St Salvator's College [Fife], Mr Thomas Miles (Milis) and Mr John Kerr (Ker), bursars in theology in the College to the bursary of Ardross [Fife], and Agnes Scott, widow of Thomas Dischington of Ardross, who owed to the College an annual rent of three chalders victual, consisting of 2 chalders wheat and 1 chalder bear, from his lands of Ardross, that in return for yearly payment of £24 Scots for two thirds of the rent as long as she occupies and works two-thirds of the Lordship and Mains of Ardross, the College exonerates Scott from further duties and sums owing to the College as executrix to the goods and gear of Dischington.
