About Abigail Throckmorton

Abigail was the daughter of Thomas Hicks and Deborah Whitehead. She died in 1762.

Abigail was born 1684 at Flushing, Queens County, New York, or 1692 at Hempstead County or Rockland County, New York. She died 21 November 1762 or 1766 at age 70 years, 1 month, 5 days.

Abigail Hicks, daughter of Thomas, married (1) James Tallman October 27 1712 Long Island, New York. After his death she married (2) John Throckmorton Esq October 8 1740 Shrewsbury, New Jersey. He died in October 1741 and left her amply cared for in his will.[1] [2]

Notes

1767 On 21 April, Abigail Hicks and Caleb Smith got a marriage license in New York. [1]

1712 On 27 October, James Talman, farmer of Flushing, married Abigail Hicks of Flushing at Jamaica.
