Arthur Harold Ferrin's parents *were* both fully Ashkenazi Jewish.

Arthur married Della "Jenny" Owens, who was not Jewish, so Harold Clayton Ferrin had 1 Ashkenazi Jewish parent and one not.

Harold Clayton Ferrin married Marian Jean Johnson, who wasn't Jewish, and that's how Martha's DNA works out to ~25% Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry.
