In the 1970s my father wrote a Family History which includes the SPRINGERs. My father was born 1892. My father "knows for sure that there was about 1900 a Baron Gustav SPRINGER in Vienna, a banker." My grandmother received a letter from this Gustav SPRINGER "in very small writing".. There is also a photo of an elegantly dressed lady in elegant surroundings; my father's caption reads: Hanna, wife of Leopold SPRINGER, Vienna, a brother of Wolfgang SPRINGER, probably about 1850". I know who Wolfgang SPRINGER is. He did have a brother Leopold. Further, Leopold SPRINGER and his wife Hannchen STIEBEL appear in DIetz "Stammbuch der Frankfurter Juden" (p.295)
QUESTION: Who is Gustav SPRINGER? How is he related to Leopold and to Wolfganf SPRINGER?
In the past, not even the experts on the SPRINGER family have known. Has anything come up recently that I should know?

Le Baron Gustav von SPRINGER (1842-1920) est le fils du Baron Maximilian von SPRINGER (1808-1885) et de Amalia SPRINGER Löwenstein (Mandl) (1820-1899).
Le Baron Gustav von SPRINGER avait un demi-frère Antoine RIEGLER (1851-1903) fils de Theresia RIEGLER (1818-?) selon la légende !
