Sicilia or Sicily's name in this form may be given after Sikileus ,the ancient king of a place called Hispania ,not necessarily identical with today's Spain or the late antique Hispania ,ruling in the XVI. century BC .
He was from the family of Atlantids ,likely descendants of Poseidáón,the king of the Sea ,and as such of Nawatl origin,as Neptun is identical with A-Na-Pat-Tel-A-Wa ,the ancestor of Nawatls of Aztlán . As his rule took place in a period after the home-taking of the Chosen People in the Holy Land of America , from 1666 BC ,and much before the exile made from about 800 BC by Assyrians ,the place he ruled in must have been in America ,where Nawatls still live ,either as successors of the families left there or of the ones having returned . Hispania itself might be named after Wa-Haya-Sepa ,ancestor of Dakotas .
Other members of his family Sikan,Sikul ,had their descendants named after them too to settle in other Mediterranean places after the exile . Even Sicul people of Dakia might be among them,especially because the claim to be Attilas's people , what in this case may refer rather to Atla(s) ,the ancestor of the family ,than to the much later Hun king , their presence in Dakia is predated to . In Nawatl country beside the local tribal language the Armenian dialect of Levites was also widely spoken .
I-Shikile tribe ,called also Xucurú ,in the Southern part of the Holy Land ,in Pernambuco and Paraíba,may also be descended from Sikile .If their name is derived rather from Ir-Shikile ,then they must be the successors of those Sicilians who followed Hierón ( Hiweroon ),king of Sicily between about 276 and 220 BC ,likely identical with Arsak of Parthia that is Ashoka / Asokhaios king of Gupta / Aigypt ,at his return into the Holy Land . His name is similar to that of Hierné ( Hiwer-Nayawa ) ,where Iroquios ,that is Ir-Okewan people might have come from,together with Wendot one of Vendotia and others ,including the ones bering his name ,or the name of one of his earlier namesakes,the Huron nation .
