Maternal surname: grandmother = Marie Philips married, I think 1920's, to Will Schmidt. Had 3 children, Iris, Natalie and Rolfe. My mother, Sybil, was born 1916 before Marie married. All children born in South Africa plus, I assume, Marie. Know nothing at all about Will Schmidt.
