Parent Genealogy and Parent Family History Information

I have only been on Geni for 6 months and love the site. I was invited to join the Provost family (my mother's side) and since then entered the Parent family tree dating back to the 1600's the first Parent in Canada. I recently found out about a book "The Genealogy of the French Families of the Detroit River Region, 1701-1936" by Christian Denissen, A priest at the time that took the tme to record all the family history that he could of the time. He was english so many of the names have be Anglisized, a mistake in my mind. I am searching through the book to update the Parent family data.

Resently a number of merges from other families have joined my tree and we have many duplications. I'm wokring with all the porfile managers to clean these duplications.
