About the Nauman surname

My line, to my knowledge, originated in 1757 with the birth of Ytzhak (Isaak) NAUMANN in Untersotzbach, Germany. His great grandson, Isak NAUMANN (1864-1930), relocated to Unsleben, Germany sometime prior to his marriage to Jeannette GUTTMAN (1868-1959). All the decendants of that couple, including Jeannette, emigrated directly, or via Cuba, to the USA or South Africa. Some of the families changed the name to NAUMAN. Others stayed with the original spelling
