Some years back, whilst in China, I came across street vendors selling background of various Chinese surnames. Out of curiousity, I bought one of 许(Koh). If what it said is to be believed, Koh, was the ruler of a small Kingdom in the north of China some 3000-4000 yrs ago. Later, it was conquered/admonished by a neighbouring kingdom and the Kohs were scattered. Hey, we are of royal blood !!
