Aron Genealogy and Aron Family History Information

One Aron family are the descendants of Aharon son of Salman of Neuwied, Germany. In 1808 the Jews were required to take on surnames rather than their father's name. Aharon's son's Salomon and Suessmann became Salomon Aron and Suessman Aron. Aharon died in 1839. It's not known what name he took on, but given the decisions of his son's his choice of surname was probably Aron.
