She was a Business Owner of 17 various businesses, Hospitality Industry mostly; but did have a variety of businesses. She employed many in and out of the family. See in the media section the Southside Shopping Plaza as it was called, then bought and called Redneck. It was Jiffy Stop during the tenure of Ginna's management of it. The McClendon Motel was the only motel in the town of Poplarville for years. Trained as a realtor in San Diego, leaving that and moving to Whitesand was when the eldest was 8 years old was a construction flip of a dream home flipped for a highly industrial life where the Who's Who Among Business Women in Mississippi was one recognition that came in the late 70's; but, the dream of being voted as the first woman on the Board of Alderman was not realized as the locals were not yet ready for a woman on the Board, as they expressed in a survey. The greatest loss expressed was that of loosing a small son to polio. Spoken as to her greatest pride was that her daughters all were in service professions.
