About Václav "James" Vetrovec
Vaclav, otherwise known as James Vetrovec was born in Bohemia in 1961. He came to America around 1887 and settled in Chicago where he married Philomena Rezac in 1893 until his death in 1926 in Indiana. He might have had family in Cleveland Ohio. DNA research shows he was not the biological father of Jaraslar "Jerry" Vetrovec in 1899.

- descendent remembers visiting family in Cleveland Ohio related to Vetrovec family, but nothing is known how that family is related.
- "Jerry's father was a drunk and left the family."
