1635 Birth and Parents

The key document for the origins of this Thomas Bell or Beall is the 1659 immigration record, in which Thomas and his wife Elizabeth immigrated in 1659 and received 100 acres of land in Anne Arundel County in 1665.

Since this Thomas was married in 1659, make him aged at least 21, 1638. Since he had no children, make him no older than 25, born 1633. Round the birth estimate to 1635. Such dates are highly speculative and useful only for placing a person in the right time period.

Marshall simply states that Thomas Bell was born before 1645 in England. [1]

Marriage to Elizabeth

He married Elizabeth, maiden name unknown, born before 1649 in England and died 28 April 1693 in Anne Arundel County. [1]

Robert Lee leaves 200 acres Law's Gift in Dorchester County to John Beall, son of Thomas Beall. Robert Lee also mentions three Brookes family members. FMMB:124-5 by error adds this John, Jr, as youngest son of Thomas Beall (Beall-12) [31]
