NOTE: Thomas Wheler changed his name to Wheeler after being knighted. So did his half-brothers and that of their children.
Knighted 1487 by the King for bravery, 16 Jun 1487, battle of Stoke (field), Simnel's Rebellion, Aldy-Charrish, West Ross-MacKays beat Rosses. This battle was the last battle fought in the War of the Roses.
Thomas married JOAN, maiden name unknown at this time. They were married Abt 1490, Cranfield, Bedfordshire, England. To this union, 7 children were born:
Thomas, Edward, William, Alice, and Richard were born in Wing, Buckinghamshire, England. Henry and John were born in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, England.
