About Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. She gained prominence starring on the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World (2014–2017), and signed with the Disney-owned Hollywood Records. She released her debut single "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying" in 2014, followed by the studio albums Eyes Wide Open (2015), Evolution (2016), Singular: Act I (2018), and Singular: Act II (2019).
Carpenter moved to Island Records in 2021 and released her fifth studio album, Emails I Can't Send (2022); the album was supported by the TikTok-viral single "Nonsense" and the Pop Airplay number-one single "Feather". She also opened for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour (2023–2024). Her sixth studio album, Short n' Sweet (2024), became her first to debut atop the Billboard 200, produced the top-three Hot 100 singles "Espresso", "Please Please Please" and "Taste" which broke various records and achievements, and also earned six Grammy nominations.
Carpenter has appeared in films including the comedy Adventures in Babysitting (2016), the coming-of-age drama The Hate U Give (2018), the road drama The Short History of the Long Road (2019), the musical drama Clouds (2020), and the thriller Emergency (2022). She has also starred in the Netflix films Tall Girl (2019), Tall Girl 2 (2022), and Work It (2020), the latter of which she executive-produced.
