Reverend William Woodhull Jayne

William Woodhull Jayne was born July 10, 1775 in Florida, Orange County, New York. He was the son of Henry Jayne and Abigail Wheeler. He married Dorcus Remy (sometimes spelled Reamy or Ramey). They had 8 children. He was a minster by profession. He died June 14, 1882 in Johnson County, Kentucky.

His family migrated from the present Scott County, Virginia to settle at Flat Gap, Johnson County, Kentucky.
