About Pte. Abraham Hadley

Abraham Hadley was born at Forster in New South Wales, Australia, on 1 January 1870. His parents were James Hadley and Christiana Hadley (Claydon) who had married at Maitland on 12 March 1861. Abraham joined the New Zealand Samoan Relief Force (Service No. WWI 37739). He died at Apia in Tuamasaga, Samoa on 27 November 1918, during the 1918 Influenza Pandemic. Abraham was buried in the Magiagi Cemetery (Soldiers' Plot. Grave 7.). He is also remembered in the Forster Cemetery, [Ang, M17.], at Forster, New South Wales, Australia.
