Princess Adai binte Assad Bin Hashim

She was an Arabic-Jewish princess. From the Qureshi Arab tribe. Her father Asad ibn Hashim (Arabic: أسد بن هاشم‎) was the son of Hashim ibn Abd al-Manaf, the great-grandfather of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the brother of Abdul Muttalib, grandfather of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Adai bint Asad bin Hashim was the mother of Haninai al-Nehar Peḳkod ben Bustanai bar Adai, Exilarch and Gaon of Sura.
