About PO. Trafford McRae Nicol

Air operations in Cologne in Germany on the night of 23/45 April 1942. While returning attacked by enemy night fighter and badly damaged (one of the crew killed, Sgt. R. J. Harris of Bombay, New Zealand - Trafford badly injured). Managed to return in aircraft to Feltwwell in Norfolk. Trafford died of multiple injuries on the morning of 24 April 1942. Buried 27 April.
