John Oldham Hightower aka as Oldham Hightower, was born in 1744 in Brunswick County, Virginia, the son of Austin Hightower Sr. and Martha Jane Oldham. He married Sara aka Sarah Parker about 1763.

Record indicates Sarah Jane is the daughter of Dr. Richard Hardy Parker 1725-1749 (ID# KHPV-JZ7) and Elizabeth King 1725-1794 (ID# 47ZP-WCD) and that she was the only child of that union. Records also indicates she married John Oldham Hightower Sr in 1763 at North Carolina, British Colonial America.

John & Sarah Jane had 11 children listed in this record. He passed away in 1823 in Florence, Alabama.
