Nanette Greenhill, 65, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Hillsboro. She was born October 16, 1949 in Hillsboro to Estell and Velma (Martin) Odom. She married David Greenhill.

For 12 years, she worked at Canterbury Villa Nursing Home in Hillsboro as the dietician. She also worked at Owen’s Illinois Glass Plant in Waco, Cercon in Hillsboro, Tacker’s Drive Inn in Hillsboro, and the Hillsboro Junior High cafeteria. Currently, she had been the assistant manager for Tucker Apartments and Meadows Apartments in Hillsboro.

In her spare time, Nanette enjoyed being in the outdoors, at the lake, and camping. She was an avid animal lover, especially horses and dogs. Her family and grandchildren is what she loved most in life. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Ed Odom and sister, Myrtle Jane Whitlock.

Survivors include her husband, David Greenhill; children, Douglas Huse, Corey Mullins, Steely Clark, Stacey Clark, Doug Lang and Joshua Greenhill; brother, Lester Joe Odom; sister, Dell Greenhill; eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Peoria Cemetery in Peoria.
