N.N. mother of Marigard

Various web trees give the mother of Marigard as either "Marian Stroud" (a name which would so be highly unlikely in the time period and the place as to be impossible) or Gytha, who was married to Godwin, the Earl of Wessex (also unlikely as this was a well documented family and Marigard does not appear in the sources). Until reliable source information can be found, she is here given as Unknown.

Gytha's parents were: Torkel Styrbjornsson and NN. Not Uctred the Bold and Elgiva as these were her daughter's (Marigard) husband's (Dunning de Lathom) parents. It is impossible to rectify this on Geni as it will not allow the changes to be made, insisting that Marigard and Dunning are siblings rather than partners.
