About Mary Darnall
No Mary or Darnell's are named in Sir George Calvert, Lord Baltimore's Will.
In 1679 Philip Darnall and his wife Mary were living in London and were written a letter in the care of Lady Somerset near Herne Stile by Charles, Lord Baltimore, who calls them both “ cosen ” ( “ cosen ” apparently being a term of endearment in those days for one’s kinsmen of any degree) (Md. Hist. goc. Fund Pub., Vol. 28, pp. 284, 310).

NB:That would be Charles, 3rd Lord Baltimore - his first wife was Philip Darnall's brother Ralph's daughter, making Philip .his "uncle by marriage", and "cousin" was a lot easier to say.
- Philip Darnall and wife seem not to have permanently emigrated to Maryland, though two/both of their sons did. It should be noted that living was easier as a London barrister (Philip's profession) than as even a well-paid Colonial agent.
Was she the daughter of BRITTON, Henry (1576-at least 1629), of Slyfield, Great Bookham, Surr. and Drury Lane, Westminster? (Wikipedia says definitely, but we all know better than to take their word without supporting evidence.) She was certainly not the sister of George Calvert, 1st Lord Baltimore, who would have been *much* too old! George had no daughter Mary, and while his son Cecil *did*, she married "ca. 1650 Sir William Blakiston, of Gibside, Durham, England" and not any Darnall.
Husband: Philip Darnall
Children: Edmund Darnall; Elizabeth Browne (Darnall); Col. Henry Darnall; Rachel Darnall; John Darnall and David Darnall
Not a Calvert.
