Mariot Campbell is the daughter of Sir Colin Campbell, 1st of Glenorchy and Margaret de Stirveling.[1]
She married William Stewart of Baldoran before 1498.[1] From before 1498, her married name became Stewart.[1] (Ben M. Angel notes: error - Scottish naming customs didn't follow the English in applying a married name to women until well after the creation of the United Kingdom in the 18th century.)
