Death 1896/6885 Millfield; Daunt, Eliza, daughter of John and Margaret.

The Maitland Weekly Mercury (NSW) Fri 19th Jun 1896: Ellalong; 16th June 1896

The wife of Mr. Geo. Daunt, who has been ailing for a considerable time, died of consumption on Sunday evening last. Her remains, followed by a large cortege, were interred in the Ettalong cemetery today, and were followed by a very large cortege. The deceased was highly respected, and will be missed by many a sorrowing neighbour.

She leaves a family of six, the youngest of which is only an infant. Much sympathy is expressed for Mr. Daunt and family, for it is scarcely twelve months since Mr. Daunt lost his aged mother. Truly he may say misfortunes seldom come singly.
