On the 17th April 1818, I have baptized Marie Louise Piwabanokwe (born as well as her sisters at Chibechkon near Lake Huron) born the 25th September 1800; Marianne Angelique Apikwetchimon born the 1st November 1804; Julie born the 23rd June 1807 and Elizabeth Agathe born the 10th September 1808; they being the children of the union of Charles Laronde, voyageur and Memadjiwanokse, a heathen.
The godmother of Marie Louise was Marie Therese Mikisikwe; the godmother of Marie Anne Angelique was Marie Anne Missosikwe, undersigned, the godmother of Julie was Marie Anne Menneclier undersigned, and the godmother of Elizabeth Agathe was Elizabeth Edith Tessepatikokwe who like the other godmother and the four children are unable to write...names printed Elizabeth; Marie Anne Menneclin; Marie Anne Langlade.

The explanation by Ida Schneider. The children were first all baptized as illegitimate, then not until June 1818 was Charles Francoise able to get legally married and legitimize his children. This copy was obtained by relatives of Mrs. McEwen, in fact it was Edward Boucher, youngest son, daughter of Charles Francois, the above. Edward went to Montreal to find out about his frandfathers will.

Canada, Province of Quebec, District of Terrebonne, Superior Court - Lake of 2 Mountains In the year 1818, the 22nd of June, after three bans and no opposition, a marriage was performed between Charles Francois Delaronde, Thibaudiere, a voyager and Magdeleine Pewadjiwonokwe, an Indain woman of Lake Simcoe, in the presence of Pierre Gamelin Gaucher, Antoine Hycinthe Lemaire-St-Germain, who signed with Toussaint Piot and Francois Langevin say Lacroix. Present, and baptized at the above marriage, were the following nine children of the above mentioned couple, named Michel Antoine, age 20 years and 4 months; Marie Louise aged 17 years and 9 monthas; Marie Angelique aged 13 years and 10 months; Julie age 11 years; Elizabeth Agathe aged 9 years and 6 months; Elizabeth aged 6 years and 6 months; Paul aged 5 years and 2 months; Etienne aged 3 years; Marguerite aged 1 year.
