About Llywarch ap Bran, Lord of Menai
Darrell Wolcott has done extensive work into solving various problems with Llywarch of Bran's tree: see http://www.ancientwalesstudies.org/id32.html He and the prominent Welsh genealogist Peter Bartrum agree on a birthdate of 1120 for Llywarch.

LDS
Llowarch ap Bran, Lord of Monau (Menai), and founder of the II. noble tribe of North Wales and Powys.
They (Owen Gwynedd and Llowarch ap Bran) were brothers-in-law, their wives being sisters. Llowarch ap Bran was succeeded by his son, Meredydd, who married his cousin, Gwenillian, granddaughter of Prince Owen Gwynnedd. (from Meyrick Genealogy but I believe he missed a generation)
There is some discrepancy between the Visitations of Wales and the Meyrick Genealogy. I am following the Visitations that give the following lineage for Eva, wife of Einion Sais:
"Eva verch Mredydd ap Cadwgan ap Llowarch ap Bran".
