She will be greatly missed in her roles as loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She never met a stranger and was well known for the hugs she spread everywhere she went. She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Brodnax Jr., her brother J.V. Smith, and her parents John and Lida Smith. She is survived by her brother J.W. and Gaye Smith; her devoted children Susan and Don Brown, Bo and Janie Brodnax, June Brown, Jeff Brodnax, and Mary Adams; her loving grandchildren Donny Brown Jr., Debbie Beard, Billy and Tassa Brodnax, Tabitha Brodnax, Russell and Lisa Brown, Adam and Sarah Brown, Raquel and Thad Lanier, Jeffrey and Erica Brodnax, Allison and Tomas Banegas, Jimmy Adams Jr, Jason Adams, Jason and Erin Drakeford, and Rhonda and Joey Karafa; her awesome great grandchildren Ryan Beard, Hunter Brown, Kaylee Brodnax, Logan Hoenig, Blake Hoenig, Liam White, Lily White, Brody Brown, Piper Brown, Lincoln Brown, Lainey Lanier, Anna Banegas-Brodnax, Sasha Banegas-Brodnax, Thomas Banegas-Brodnax, Caleb Brodnax, Penny Drakeford, with a boy and a girl on the way; niece Tina and Rob Kaler, and Caroline Dursun Johnson; nephews Terry and Debbie Smith, and Joey Smith. She was a dedicated member of Mountain Park First Baptist Church for over 50 years and was retired as a mail carrier from the Stone Mountain Post Office.
