According to the imaginative reconstruction of David Hughes, she was Eurgain, daughter of Saint Cyllin. She married Sarclotus and had two children, Emanuel "Erise" and Gwladys, wife of King Lucius. In a Finnish genealogy, Marius appears as the son of Gweirydd and Genvissa, the husband of Julia, and the father of Coel.

In Morgan's pedigree discussed at From Beli to Byzantine Marius is the son of Arviragus and father of a daughter, Eurgen.
