He states that he was born in Monterrey, lives at the Santa Rosa Ranch, is the legitimate son of Juan Cavazos and María Jacinta Fernández, is ill, wishes to be buried in the Iglesia Parroquial of Monterrey, and sets forth some bequests. He states that he was married to Rosa María González, legitimate daughter of Juan González and María Cantú of the San Jose Hacienda in Cadereyta, and that their children are Juan Nepumoceno, María Rosalia, José Dimas, Juana, María Brígida, and José Patricio. He states that he married a second time to María Rafaela de Ayala, legitimate daughter of Pedro de Ayala and María Guadalupe de la Garza, and that their children are José Felipe, José Fernando, María Manuela, José Tomas, José Francisco, María Magdalena, and María Gertrudis.
