Jone Stroud

Biography

Jone was the mother of Anthony Strode. She was the Executor of her husband's will in 1609 when he died young with living minor children.. He passed away in 1610. It's a good idea reconsider the circa birth years for Jone and Anthony (say ~1575-1579) to give timeline plausibility for the births of their daughters—thus positing the couple's marriage at circa 1599.
The only extant baptism record for the children is for John: 12 Nov 1609 in Ramsbury, Wiltshire, England—a mere 4.4 miles from Braydon. (See Google Maps)
