Witnesses to this contract were Benjamin Sidway, John Allen, Edmund Shipman, Thomas Flood and John Flood; the last two being brothers of the bride. She was a daughter of Colonel John Flood, who died between May and November 1658, by his wife, Margaret. This Mary Flood married 1st; Lt. Richard Blunt, 2nd; Charles Ford; 3rd; John Washington, and 4th; Henry Briggs. By John Washington, she had one child who was named Richard.
