John Hallet was the head of one of the founding families of Scituate, Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts.
He was born c. 1606 in England. He married his wife, Anne Tucker, on May 6, 1629 in Allington, Dorset, England. Their only child, Lydia Hallet Curtis, was born in England.
The family arrived in Scituate in 1638. Lydia married Richard Curtis there in 1649.
John died on December 12, 1673 in Scituate.
