Jasprit Jasbirsingh Bumrah (born 6 December 1993) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the national team in all formats of the game. He is the vice-captain of India in the Test format and has captained India in Tests and T20Is. A right-arm fast bowler, considered one of the finest bowlers in current era. Bumrah plays for Gujarat in domestic cricket and for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Bumrah was a crucial member of the Indian team that won the 2024 T20 World Cup, where he was named the Player of the Tournament for taking 15 wickets with an average economy of 4.17.
