From the San Francisco Examiner, Sunday, November 12, 2000, page D4:
LAZOOTIN, Isabelle Jeanette--89, died of natural causes on November 3, 2000. Isabelle grew up in Brazil, Indiana, but raised her family in San Francisco, California. She spent her younger years working as an office administrator for SF Ford dealerships and her later years being active at Visitation Valley Community Center and the John King Senior Center. Isabelle, a bright, witty woman, was an avid reader, who particularly enjoyed the SF Chronicle and Examiner newspaper, which she once delivered to neighbors in her community. She was also a big 49er fan and was often seen sporting 49er attire. Isabelle was the last surviving child of the late Alexander and Minnie Haggart's seven children. She was wife to the late Michael Lazootin; loving mother to four children, including two late sons, John and Michael. She is survived by her two daughters Rose Marie and Yvonne; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a large extended family. Isabelle was most grateful for her grandchildren, Don and Dulce Adonis and Ron Totentino, for continuous care and nurturing they gave her during her later years. Memorial donations for Isabelle Lazootin may be sent to the John King Senior Center at 590 Leland Ave. San Francisco, CA. Arrangements by The Bud Duggan Family."
