About Henry de Neufmarche
Henry was also called Henricus de Novomercato.
He held one fee of the bishop of Worcester, and denied the service owed on another, in 1166.
He returned a Carta for his barony of North Cadbury in 1166.
He certified, upon the assessment of the aid for marrying the King's daughter, his knights fees to be sixteen, an half, two thirds, and two fifth parts, for which he paid £11 14s., in 1165/66.

HENRY de Neufmarché ([1175/78]-). same person as…? HENRY de Neufmarché (-1239 or before). "Henry de Neufmarché" paid a fine for "having as his wife Frethesenta who was the wife of Geoffrey Luttrell, if she wishes", dated to [1217/18][1766]. The Testa de Nevill includes a list of landholdings in Yorkshire, dated 1219, which includes "Frethesanth que fuit uxor Willelmi Paynel", adding that "Henricus de Novo Mercato eam habet", holding land in "Rydal" as well as "filia Isabelle sororis Frethesanth predicte…Eustachius de Greinvill eam habet"[1767].
m ([Oct 1217/Oct 1218]) as her second husband, FRETHESANT Paynell, widow of GEOFFREY Luttrell of Gamston and Bridgeford, Nottinghamshire, daughter of WILLIAM Paynell & his wife Frethesant ---. "Henry de Neufmarché" paid a fine for "having as his wife Frethesenta who was the wife of Geoffrey Luttrell, if she wishes", dated to [1217/18][1768]. The Testa de Nevill includes a list of landholdings in Yorkshire, dated 1219, which includes "Frethesanth que fuit uxor [...Galfridi Luterel, filia] Willelmi Paynel", adding that "Henricus de Novo Mercato eam habet", holding land in "Rydal" as well as "filia Isabelle sororis Frethesanth predicte…Eustachius de Greinvill eam habet"[1769]. The Testa de Nevill includes a list of landholdings in Yorkshire, dated 1219, which includes "Frethesaunte Paynel uxoris Henrici de Nov Mercato" holding land at Stratford[1770].
