Hawise de Say, Lady Marshall

Hawise de Saye, daughter of William de Saye, Knight, by his wife, Sibyl (Marshal) de Saye, was born in Kent, England, around 1259. After 1267, she married John le Marshal, Knight, hereditary Marshal of Ireland, son and heir of William le Marshal, deputy Marshal in Ireland. [1]

They had four children:[2]

1. William, Knight
2. John
3. Anselm, Knight
4. Pernel, wife of Thomas de Vere.

Hawise was widowed in 1283, and she was still living in 1318.[3]
