Hannah Keeshan

Hannah Corrigan was born in Ireland c.1835. She married John Keeshan, another Irish immigrant. She died after the 1870 US census, but before the 1880 US Census was taken. She is not listed in John's household in that census, and John describes himself as widowed. She was the mother of four.

Hannah Keashan appears in the 1870 US Census for Cincinnati, Ohio, listed as a 35 year old white female, born in Ireland, and keeping house. Also in the household are her husband John Keashan, age 41, born in Ireland and working as a druggist; son John V., age 12, born in Ohio, a student; daughter Bertha, age 5, born in Ohio; son Joseph, age 3, born in Ohio; daughter Alice, age 1, born in Ohio; Elizabeth Carrigan, age 50, born in Ireland; Bridget McLaughlin, age 20, a servant, born in Ireland; and Anna Smith, age 17, born in Ohio.
