About Hannah Johnson

There is no death record for her either in Ware or in Roxbury records either. Hannah's not found arriving with her father here:https://www.geni.com/projects/Great-Migration-Passengers-of-the-Arbella-1630/5754. Her father and stepmother's departure port was at Yarmouth, Hampshire, England (Isle of Wight) – 134 miles from Ware.

If she did sail to New England, she would've come with guardians on a later departing ship that didn't keep a list of passengers or the list was ruined long ago.

Douglas Richard's 1992 mention of Hannah is only correct about the place of Hannah's baptism and her parents. The rest of what he wrote is now viewed as disproved musings. https://www.americanancestors.org/databases/new-england-historical-...
-------------------------------

Baptized March 23, 1627/8. She is not listed in the records of Ware and Great Amwell as having died in England. It is assumed that she died before 1659 because John Johnson's Will probated in 1659 following his death in Roxbury, Massachusetts only mentions five living named children who were: Mary Mowry, Issac Johnson, Elizabeth Pepper, Humphrey Johnson, and Sarah Bartram.

There is some speculation about Hannah Johnson. Was she married to William Bartram? Was she married to Hugh Burt? Did she die young? There is no death listing for Hannah Johnson in the Vital Records of Roxbury for the period 1630 - 1700.
