A manuscript recording the heirs of William de Briouse records that “Willielmus de Breus” married "Graciam primogenitam et unam hæredum Willielmi Briwere"[1989]. m as his first wife, REYNOLD de Briouse, son of WILLIAM [III] de Briouse & his wife Mathilde de Saint-Valéry Dame de la Haye (-[5 May 1227/9 Jun 1228]).

William de Braose, 10th Baron Abergavenny

William de Braose, Lord of Abergavenny (c. 1197 to 1204 – 2 May 1230) was the son of Reginald de Braose by his first wife, Grecia de Briwere (born 1186) from Stoke in Devon. He was the tenth Baron Abergavenny and an ill-fated member of a powerful and long lived dynasty of Marcher Lords.

Grecia was also called Grace de Briwere, and also Groecia de Bruere.

Grecia de Briwere married Reginald de Braose, 5th Baron of Brecknock, son of William "the Ogre of Abergavenny", 4th Lord of Bramber, 5th Baron Braose and Maud de St. Valéry, before 1204.
