FRANK HAMER SHINAULT August 19, 1965 Frank Hamer Shinault Dies in California Frank Hamer Shinault, 58, of 4191 4th St., San Bernardino, Calif. died Thursday in San Bernardino. A native of Booneville, Mr. Shinault had lived in San Bernardino 30 years and in California 38 years. He was active in the Cerebral Palsy Association of San Bernardino County and was a member of Masonic Lodge Phoenix 178 and Woodmen of the World Camp 916. He was the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Shinault, a prominent family of Mississippi. Mr. Shinault before coming to Booneville to enter the business field owned and operated large planting interests at "Oaklawn" near Baldwyn. The family home and Historic landmark formerly stood on what is now Shinault Heights Magnolia Drive. Mr. Shinault, who went west in his early manhood, had many friendships in Booneville, where he was beloved for his winning personality and princely manner. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Mark B. Shaw Chapel. Burial was in Montecito Memorial Park in San Bernardino. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Gladys B. Shinault; four sons, Edward, William, Gerald and Robert Shinault of San Bernardino, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. A. B. Schultz of Booneville; two brothers, Ottie Shinault of Needles, Calif., and C. R. Shinault of Mobile, Ala.; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
