MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 0 OBIT: Elsie White Anderson, 81, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at her home in Smackover. Born Dec. 11, 1924, in Hot Springs, she was the daughter of Thomas Delvin White and Beatrice Garrett White. A retired production clerk for Phillips Petroleum, she also worked as executive secretary for 20 years at Cross Oil Co. Elsie was a 1942 graduate of Norphlet High School, and a 1952 graduate of Green's Business School in El Dorado. Mrs. Anderson was a member of First Baptist Church of Smackover. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles H. Urban, Jr., and Milton Crain Norrell; her parents, and a brother, D. R. "Bud" White. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Millard C. Anderson of Smackover; two sons, Charles H. Urban III and his wife Priscilla of Fayetteville, and Tommy Norrell and his wife Beth of Smackover; three sisters, Betty Parker and her husband Doyle, Joyce Armstrong, all of Smackover, and Charlotte Edwards and husband Don of Cape Giraurdo, MO; and two grandchildren, Charles M. Urban and Lillis A. Urban, both of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Young's Funeral Directors, 508 Champagnolle Road in El Dorado, with the Rev. Don Travis officiating. Burial will follow at Smackover Cemetery. Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of Smackover, 201 W. 7th, Smackover, AR 71762.
