Robert married Elizabeth HODY, daughter of Reginald HODY of Pillesdon, Esq. and Elizabeth DYNHAM, in 1522. (Elizabeth HODY was born about 1502 in Pillesdon, Dorset, England.)

WILL of ROBERT de STRODE:

13 Apr 1559, proved 11 Nov 1559... '-to be buryed within the churche of Bymy[n]ster where my Auncestours have been wont to be buryed "Item I give unto my sonne Thomas Strode my lease of Stoke under hamdon my lease of Aller and ij hundred poundes of Currant money" "Also I will that my sonne Thomas shalhave all the stuffe at Stoke aforesaide and the olde wheate and the newe wheate to remayne unto my sonne John Strode...."'
