Elizabeth Eskridge was the daughter of Col. Eskridge's second wife. She married twice. First to William Aylett then to Dr. James Steptoe. Both of these men had children before marrying Elizabeth. Strangely, both men were married to Ashton Sisters. Anne Steptoe Washington was first the daughter of Dr. James Steptoe and Hannah Ashton. She was Samuel Washington's 4th of 5 wives.
