Elizabeth married her stepbrother John Nims, the son of Godfrey Nims.
Though they both lived in Deerfield, it is said she was a captive in Canada when she met her future husband, John Nims. John was born 14 Aug 1679, captured 8 Oct 1703, so just turned 24. Elizabeth was taken captive 29 Feb 1704 in the Deerfield Raid/Massacre during the Queen Anne's War, she was 16 at the time. John escaped and returned in 1705, nearly starved when arriving in Deerfield. John and Elizabeth married 19 Dec 1707 in Deerfield,MA.
Her mother, Mehitable Smead Hull Nims remarried after her first husband/Elizabeth's father, Jeremiah Hull Jr died. Her second husband was Godfrey Nims, Elizabeth’s husband’s father. Mehitable and most of her children perished in the raid or en route to Canada in a forced march to captivity or while in captivity, she died en route
