The Great Migration Begins, Vol. 2, p. 1331 states: Elizabeth, bp. St Olaves, Southwark, Surrey, 1 Jan 1617/18, admitted to Boston church 30 March 1634 (as Elizabeth Newgate, step daughter to our sister Anne Newgate) [BChR 17]; m. (1) by 1638 John Oliver, son of Thomas Oliver; m. (2) Cambridge 14 March 1648//9 Edward Jackson.
Eldest daughter of the feltmaker, John Newgate, by his first wife, Lydia (Great Migration, Vol. 2, p. 1331).
John Oliver of Boston was the graduate at Harvard College in 1645. He was admitted freeman in 1640, and d. 12 April 1646. His wife was Elizabeth, daughter of John Newgate, and she afterwards m. Edward Jackson. (p. 211)

Edward Jackson, born in 1602, came from the parish of White Chapel in London abt 1640; d. 17 July 1681 at Newton. His last wife, whom he m. 14 March 1649, was Elizabeth, widow of John Oliver and daughter of John Newgate of Boston.(p. 158)

John Oliver, son of the Elder Thomas Oliver and son-in-law of John Newgate, having married Elizabeth, his daughter, d. 1646 April 11, 1646. (p. 19) [2]
Edward Jackson had eight children in England, one born on the passage, and ten born in this country and upwards of sixty grandchildren. His second marriage in March 1649, was with Elizabeth, daughter of John Newgate, and widow of Rev. John Oliver. His wife survived him twenty eight years and died September 30, 1709, aged ninety two years.(p. 87-89) [3]

Daughter of John Newgate of London & Boston and his wife Lydia. She was baptized in England Jan 1, 1617/18. She married 1st John Oliver of Boston. They had three children. She married second Edward Jackson. They had six children.
"A small stone at the left of Edward's (the face of which has scaled off) marks a grave, and the footstone, bearing the name Elizabeth Jackson, shows it to be that of Edward's widow. Jackson's "History of Newton," pg 322, gives her date of death as September 30, 1709." The Newton Town Records say Sep 1709 age 92.
