Elizabeth "Arnelle" (Hudspeth) Brantley was born on February 2, 1921 in Robertson County, Tennessee, the daughter of William Pierce Hudspeth (1895–1972) and his 1st wife Alma May (Baker) Hudspeth (1894–1962).
Arnelle married November 14, 1941 Harold "Douglas" Brantley (1920–1998) at Lockland Baptist Church in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, the son of Horace Leland Brantley (1873–1942) and Bessie Marie (Meeks) Brantley (1882–1957).
Living in Madison, Davidson County, she was 78 years old when she passed away on May 10,1999.
Arnelle was preceded in death by her husband Harold Douglas Brantley, while survivors included at Daughter in Hendersonville, Tennessee, married son Leland Pierce Brantley Sr of Madison, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Mrs Helen Brantley at Fredonia, Kentucky and Mrs Euline H Behm in Franklin, Tennessee, brother-in-law Otis Meador of Hendersonville.
Funeral Services were held on May 12th at Madison Funeral Home, and burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville, Davidson County.
