About Elizabeth Boyd of Bonshaw

Notes

From Balfour's The Scots Peerage:

"Archibald Boyd and Christian Mure, his spouse, ... appear to have had two sons and' three daughters: (4) Elizabeth, married to Thomas Douglas, younger of Lochleven, who died v.p. In the birth brieve granted 30 July 1635 to her descendant Lady Isabel Hay (see p. 152) she is incorrectly described as a daughter [instead of granddaughter] of Robert, Lord Boyd". (1)
