The son of my ancestors, JOHN & ELIZABETH CHEDSEY, he was baptized March 23, 1666 in First Church of New Haven.
1702 Polls & Estates: Ebenezer Chedsey 7 polls, 53 pounds, 19 acres. He was chosen clerk in April, 1704. In January of 1708, the Village of East Haven had to sell land to pay the minister & to pay for the meeting house requiring the proprietors to be taxed one shilling and eight pence per acre. Ebenezer Chedsey's estate was 19 1/4 acres.
He died at he age of 61, leaving a widow, Priscilla (Thompson) Chedsey.
